Continental Tyres has been supplying sports goods manufacturer Adidas™ with Traction Compound soles for various segments of the footwear market since 2007.
Ever since their technology-based cooperation began, they have steadily expanded their coverage, until today more than 80 different running, trekking, and outdoor shoes for men and women are on the market. All of these shoes have extremely high-grip soles made from special rubber compounds devised by Continental.
The reasons for the partnership between Continental and Adidas should be obvious.
There are many parallels between tyres and shoes. Tyres are to cars what shoes are to runners - they form the only link with the ground and must ultimately be able to transmit all of the forces involved in braking and accelerating. The rubber compounds specially developed for Adidas by Continental feature particularly high levels of grip on all surfaces, helping runners to conserve energy that would go to waste in a shoe with less grip.

Promoter: Camskill UK Ltd, Pottery Road, Whitehaven, CA28 9BZ. Please do not send entries to this address.1. By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other requirements set out in the promotional material.
2. Promotion open to online customers, resident in the UK aged 18 years+. Employees and the immediate families of the promoter, retailer, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion and trade customers (fleet and company vehicle drivers) are not eligible to enter this promotion.
3. Purchase required – minimum of 2 qualifying Continental car, van or 4x4 tyres in a single transaction between 1st April and 30th April 2019. Qualifying tyres are those displaying promotional text on the www.camskill.co.uk website at the time of ordering. On-line purchases only at www.camskill.co.uk qualify. Your full name and contact details will be required to enter.
4. The offer: Purchase 2 or more qualifying Continental car, van or 4x4 tyres and receive a free Continental Travel Pack in the post. You will then automatically be put into a grand prize draw for a pair of adidas trainers. There are approx. 125 travel packs available which are awarded on a first come first serve basis. The promotion will end early if all gifts are redeemed before the closing date.
5. The Prize. The Continental Travel Pack consists of the following Continental branded items; ice scraper, drawstring bag, car cleaning sponge, water bottle and phone cleaner. The grand prize of a pair of adidas trainers with Continental rubber compound soles will be available in UK sizes from 4-8 ladies & men's sizes 7–12. If these are not available in the prize winners shoe size an alternative size will be provided. Sizes are subject to availability. Trainer sizes cannot be exchanged or returned. Winners are requested to try on a pair of trainers at their local store before ordering. Once ordered prizes cannot be amended. Trainer image for illustrative purposes only. Trainer model may vary.
6. The Prize Draw. Winner will be selected at random no later than May 14th (draw date).
7. Winner Selection: The winner of the prize draw will be notified via email with two days (48 hours) of the draw date. Following notification, the winner has 72 hours to claim the prize. To claim the prize the winner must email their selected shoe size and requested delivery address to sales@camskill.co.uk. Once claimed the winner will be mailed the prize within 28 days. If the prize is not claimed within 72 hours, the prize may be reallocated by the Promoter to a reserve winner selected in the same manner. Prizes will be handed out on a first to claim basis. Prizes cannot be returned for another prize.
8. No responsibility can be taken for prizes, which are lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any other reason.
9. No alternative is available except in the event of circumstances outside its control, the Promoter when a similar substitute of equal or greater value will be supplied.
10. The prize will only be awarded directly to the winners.
11. The Promoter will not be liable for any cancellations, alterations or modifications to the promotion as detailed above or the prizes for any reason which falls outside its reasonable control.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and winners and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. Only in circumstances that make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions at any stage but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants.
14. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
15. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
16. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
17. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
